
International Yoga Day is being celebrated across the country on Sunday (21st June). On this occasion, a grand program was organized in Jabalpur, Madhya Pradesh. President Draupadi Murmu participated as the chief guest in this special program organized at the Garrison Ground of the city. During this time he did yoga with thousands of people. People looked very excited to see the President among them.
Madhya Pradesh Governor Mangubhai Patel, Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav, Deputy Chief Minister Jagdish Deora and many state government ministers and party leaders were present in this program. Along with cabinet ministers Pahal Singh Patel, Rakesh Singh and Narendra Singh Parmar, Jabalpur MP, MLA and a large number of public representatives also participated in the yoga program. Special arrangements as well as elaborate security arrangements were made at the entire venue for the arrival of the President.

CM Mohan Yadav welcomed the President
The program started with the welcome of President Draupadi Murmu. Chief Minister Mohan Yadav welcomed him by giving him a bouquet of flowers. On this occasion the President was honored by presenting a memento. After the national anthem, the President, Governor, Chief Minister and other guests collectively did yoga and gave the message to the people to adopt yoga regularly. Various yogasanas and pranayam were performed under the common yoga protocol under the direction of yoga instructors.

Five thousand people did yoga together
According to the information, about five thousand people practiced yoga together in this huge program organized at the Garrison Ground. In this, active participation of every section of the society including youth, children, women, students and senior citizens was seen. A large number of people also resolved to adopt a healthy lifestyle through yoga. The presence of President Draupadi Murmu made this event more dignified. On World Yoga Day, the message of health, balance and positive life was given to the entire state and country from Jabalpur.

CM’s appeal to adopt yoga
On this occasion, Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav said that Yoga is an ancient and invaluable heritage of India, which is being adopted by the whole world today. He said that Yoga is a precious gift given by India to the world for the welfare of humanity. He said that India has worked to connect the entire world through yoga and today International Yoga Day has the support of more than 175 countries. Appealing to all citizens to adopt yoga in their daily life, the Chief Minister said that yoga is the basis of a healthy, balanced and positive life.
