PM Modi distributed incentive amount of about Rs 2,400 crore under Pradhan Mantri Vikas Bharat Rozgar Yojana (PM-VBRY). While addressing the program, he said that today I can see a picture of India’s bright future in the young friends associated with this program. I just came back from a trip to France and Slovakia a few hours ago. I have met senior leaders of developed countries in G7. Today the world is talking about the youth power of India. India’s talent, skill and strength are being discussed far and wide.

In such a time, it is our endeavor that the youth of India can convert their potential into opportunities and with this thinking, PM Vikas Bharat Rojgar Yojana has been started. This employment scheme goes much beyond what is generally thought and is a scheme that empowers the dreams of the youth who get their first job. This is a scheme to build a strong bridge between youth and industries.
First time employees got social security cover
PM said, this is a scheme to build a strong bridge between youth and industries. About 70 lakh jobs have been created so far under this scheme. About 70 lakh first time employees have got the cover of social security. About 20 lakh youth have completed 6 months of their first job. Today, about 10 lakh of these young people have received incentives as beneficiaries of the scheme after completing 6 months in their first job.
Employment Fair Scheme Identity of New India
He said, PM Vikas Bharat Rojgar Mela Yojana is the identity of this new India. An India where youth get opportunities. Industry should be encouraged. Employment generation should become a national campaign. In a young country like India, the more sources of opportunities there are, the more the dreams of the youth will take flight. With this thinking, every avenue of employment has been strengthened in the last 12 years.
