Karunasamy Devi is mainly worshiped in Karunasamy Temple. This temple is situated in a hilly area near Kadamlaikundu in Theni district of Tamil Nadu. It is believed that visiting this temple provides relief from court cases, family problems or personal troubles. Money is distributed in the temple as Prasad. Notes are given as Prasad to the devotees coming to this temple. The belief behind this is that the goddess helps her devotees financially.
Mahalaxmi Temple, Ratlam
Mahalakshmi temple is in Ratlam, Madhya Pradesh. This temple is at Manak Chowk of Ratlam. During the five-day long Diwali festival from Dhanteras, devotees offer their money and jewelery to the goddess in the sanctum sanctorum of the temple. The donations of the devotees are returned to them after the festival is over. Apart from this, there is also a tradition of distributing notes and coins as Prasad to the devotees.
