
India’s indigenous defense technology has achieved great success in Jodhpur. Tactical Loitering Munition Platform Divyastra Mk-1 developed by Hoverit was successfully demonstrated in the presence of senior officers of the Indian Army. During the demonstration, Divyastra Mk-1 UAV was successfully launched several times from the mobile launcher mounted on the vehicle. This test proved its rapid deployment, mobility and operational readiness in the battlefield.
According to the company, the drone’s ability to gather intelligence, conduct surveillance and reconnaissance missions has also been successfully demonstrated in this exercise. This test shows that the Divyastra Mk-1 can operate effectively in real war-like conditions.
Divyastra Mk-1 completely indigenous
Divyastra Mk-1 is a completely indigenously developed tactical UAV, designed for intelligence, surveillance, reconnaissance and precision strikes. Its operational range is up to 500 kilometers and it can fly continuously for 5 hours. This drone can be deployed with electro-optical and infrared sensors, communication relay system and different types of warheads as per the mission requirement. This gives the army more flexibility and strength in surveillance, target identification and tactical operations.

The successful demonstration of Divyastra Mk-1 is being considered an important achievement in the field of India’s self-reliant defense capability and indigenous drone technology. India is continuously taking steps to reduce foreign dependence on arms and appears to be achieving success in this area to a great extent.
