Indians are often trolled over the increasing immigration to Canada, but this video has revealed another side of the story. 18-year-old Tyson Hockley has shared a video on his Instagram account (formerly Twitter) praising the Indian community and saying that Canada needs more Indians.
Tyson told that he had forgotten the key to his hotel room and was locked outside. He remained worried for a long time and kept trying to go inside by repeatedly pressing his card on the sensor, but the door did not open. Then an Indian man came there and seeing Tyson’s problem, he immediately helped him, so that he could go back to his room.
In the video, Tyson can be heard saying, “Brother, I was standing outside my hotel room, I couldn’t find the keys and guess who helped me?” He further says, an Indian. This is a message to all those people who get angry with me when I say that Indians are good and smart. However, as soon as the video went viral, a heated debate started among netizens. While some people seemed to agree with Tyson, many people started trolling him. One user wrote, he saved your life by opening the door of the hotel? Perhaps it was the hotel staff or owner. Another said, even if there was a white or black person in that employee’s place, he would still have done the same. This has nothing to do with nationality.
