An Indian-origin player who left India and went to Canada to fulfill his dreams has died tragically. The name of this player is Hrishikesh Koloth who was a resident of Kerala. Rishikesh was killed in a bear attack in northern Saskatchewan, Canada. This player was going to become a UFC fighter but he also used to do a job along with it. When Rishikesh was working at a uranium exploration site near Nordby Lake, he was attacked by a bear, due to which he lost his life.
Rishikesh lived in British Columbia
Rishikesh lived with his elder brother Arjun Kolath. The house of both brothers was in Penticton city of British Columbia. Hrishikesh had gone to Canada only three years ago and his dream was to become a professional fighter in UFC. He took MMA training in India and Canada. Hrishikesh’s brother told that he was about to start working as a boxing coach in Vancouver but before that this accident happened to him.
Bear also died
Rishikesh was attacked by a black bear which is quite shocking. Such attacks do not happen there. When a bear attacked Rishikesh, a person tried to save him. He shot the bear, killing the animal. Arjun Kolath described his brother Rishikesh as a fighter. He said, ‘He was not afraid of anyone. He just loved fighting. Early in the morning officers came to me and told me that your brother has been killed in Saskatchewan. Let us tell you that till now a bear has attacked someone only four times in Saskatchewan. The last attack took place 6 years ago in 2020 but now an Indian origin player has lost his life in this attack.
