Indian Idol 16 Finale: The journey of Sony TV’s popular singing reality show ‘Indian Idol Season 16’ has now reached its most exciting stage. After months of tough competition, battle of tunes and memorable performances, the show has got its top 6 finalists. The ‘Grand Finale’ of this season themed ‘Yaadon Ki Playlist’ will be telecasted on Sony Entertainment Television on Sunday, 26th July 2026 and after a long wait, the country will finally get the new winner of ‘Indian Idol 16’.
However, before the glittering finale evening, a surprising news has also emerged for the fans. The show’s popular judge and music composer Vishal Dadlani will not be able to be a part of the grand finale.
Why will Vishal Dadlani be missing from the finale?
Expressing grief over his absence, Vishal Dadlani, who guided the contestants throughout the season, said, “This season has seen amazing talent. Each one of our top 6 finalists has achieved this position on the strength of their hard work. I am very sorry that due to pre-planned commitments, I am not able to be a part of this grand finale. But from my side, I wish everyone all the best.
The finale gathering will be decorated with stars
Vishal Dadlani may not be present, but the makers have made full preparations to make the finale night a blockbuster. Along with the show’s judge Shreya Ghoshal and Badshah, many eminent personalities will grace the stage. As special guests, Usha Uthup, Udit Narayan, Papon, Kumar Sanu, Shehnaaz Gill and Urmila Matondkar will be seen adding spice to the finale. As usual, Aditya Narayan is hosting the show.
