IND vs AFG: For Team India, which has already won the three-match ODI series against Afghanistan, the last match is just a formality. The third ODI will be played at M. Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai. Before this match, Team India’s assistant coach Ryan ten Deskathe has given a big gesture. He hinted that Arshdeep Singh will not play in the third ODI, he can be given rest. In his place, all-rounder Nitish Reddy can get a place, who did not play in the second ODI due to injury.

What changes will there be in the playing eleven of Team India?

Ten Deskathe has also said that there will be changes in the playing eleven of Team India in the ODI match to be played in Chennai. In the press conference, Descathe said, ‘We are going to make changes in the team. Some of the players who played in the first two matches may be rested. Arshdeep Singh has bowled brilliantly in the first two matches, he can be rested in the match to be held on Saturday. Even one batsman can be rested.

No change in top order

Assistant coach ten Doeschate confirmed that there will be no change in India’s top 3 batsmen. Meaning Yashasvi Jaiswal will get another chance. Descathe said, ‘Our batting is amazing, there is a lot of variety in it. But KL Rahul will not play at number 3 in the third ODI. We absolutely want to see Yashasvi Jaiswal, he did not score much runs in the last match. Yashasvi Jaiswal was out in the second ODI after scoring just 4 runs. Ten Deskathe said that Yashasvi Jaiswal will sometimes get a chance and he will have to score runs.

Team India has confidence in Nitish Reddy

Ten Deskathe told in the press conference how much Team India has confidence in Nitish Reddy. He said that Reddy is completely fit for the final match and his body looks much stronger than before. “He has improved a lot in the last 18 months,” Descathe said, highlighting how important he is to the team. I feel that Reddy’s body has become much stronger than before and he is the biggest alternative to Hardik Pandya.

Probable playing eleven of Team India in Chennai ODI: Shubman Gill, Yashasvi Jaiswal, Rohit Sharma, Ishan Kishan, KL Rahul, Nitish Reddy, Washington Sundar, Gurnoor Brar, Kuldeep Yadav, Prince Yadav, Prasidh Krishna.
