Shreyas Iyer- Suryakumar Yadav: The next T20 captain of Team India will be Shreyas Iyer. An official announcement regarding this can be made on Thursday. As T20 captain, Iyer will replace Suryakumar Yadav in Team India. According to the report of Dainik Jagran, the final approval on making Shreyas Iyer the T20 captain will be given in the online meeting of BCCI’s Apex Council to be held on Thursday. The discussion about the new T20 captain of Team India was already in full swing. Now the suspense seems to be ending. After the approval of Shreyas Iyer’s name in the Apex Council meeting of BCCI, Chief Selector Ajit Agarkar will inform the other selectors about this.

Iyer T20 captain for Ireland-England tour – report

There are also reports that Team India’s head coach was in favor of making Sanju Samson the T20 captain, but Chief Selector Ajit Agarkar did not agree with him. By mutual consent, it has been agreed to make Shreyas Iyer the next T20 captain of India. He will be seen commanding the team on the tour of Ireland and England. The team selection meeting for both these tours is to be held on Saturday, June 6, in which Shreyas Iyer can be seen sitting.

According to media reports, along with making Shreyas Iyer the next T20 captain, the name of the vice-captain of Team India has also been approved. Tilak Verma will be the next vice-captain of the team. He will replace Akshar Patel on this position.

The wait for Rajat Patidar has increased!

The wait for Rajat Patidar to make a place in Team India’s T20 team seems to be increasing. After making RCB the IPL champion twice in a row, Rajat Patidar was also a contender to be made the captain. But, if media reports are to be believed, BCCI has not shown confidence in Rajat Patidar at present.
