IND vs ENG: ‘Danger’ to the feet of Team India players, they will have to kneel to win!

July 3, 2026 by Uma Shankar

England’s fast bowlers are seen making special preparations for the second T20 match against India. Especially Joffra Archer worked hard in the nets and it is being said that these players will play in the second match to be held at Old Trafford, Manchester. A video of Joffra Archer is going viral on social media in which he is practicing hitting the ball on shoes. In this video, he has kept his shoes on the crease and he is trying to hit the ball on them. Let us tell you that usually bowlers do this kind of practice to bowl accurate yorkers. It is clear from this video that the shoes of the Indian batsmen are going to be attacked in the Manchester T20, which means that yorkers are going to rain on them.

How will Team India deal with the yorker?

team india Indian players know the art of scoring runs even on yorker balls, but let us tell you that most of the batsmen of Team India do not play lap shots. Most of the batsmen of the team score runs only by playing traditional shots. Abhishek Sharma, Sanju Samson, Shreyas Iyer do not play many lap shots. Shivam Dubh, Akshar Patel also play less lap shots. Ishan Kishan and Tilak Verma are the only batsmen who are adept at playing lap shots. Let us tell you that to play lap shots, the batsman has to kneel down and play the shot behind the wicket. This turns a good yorker ball into a low fulltoss.

The form of Indian batsmen is a matter of concern

Let us tell you that the form of the top order batsmen of Team India remains a matter of concern. Especially Sanju Samson and Ishan Kishan have not scored runs in three consecutive matches. Samson neither played against Ireland nor in the first T20 against England, he was out after scoring 1 run. Abhishek Sharma has definitely scored 2 half-centuries in the last three innings. Ishan Kishan could not even open his account against England. Tilak Verma’s strike rate remains a cause of great concern.

What will Vaibhav Suryavanshi play?

Even before the Manchester T20, once again the same question is in the minds of the fans whether Vaibhav Suryavanshi will be given a chance? Will he be given his international debut? Suryavanshi is practicing vigorously and his bat is also showing its colour, but it remains to be seen what is the strategy of Team India management. There are reports that the chances of this player playing in Manchester are quite high.
