In Pakistan, Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam Fazal i.e. JUI-F chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman has directly challenged Army Field Marshal Asim Munir. Maulana Fazlur Rehman said that if the army wants to do politics then it should take off its uniform. Form your own party and contest elections. Then we will know how many votes people give to those in uniform. It is your right to hand over the government to whomever you wish and to snatch the government from whomever you wish.
Maulana Fazlur Rehman said about the army that you are also our Pakistanis. You are also our brother who reads Kalma. But living in the country, there is a limit for me too. I should not go beyond my limits. Parliament has its own limits, every department has its own jurisdiction. Similarly, the army also has its own jurisdiction. The army also has a responsibility. Keep an eye on your responsibilities.
‘It is not the job of the army to decide who will remain in power’
He further said that the job of the army is to protect the country. Not to interfere in politics. It is not the job of the army to decide who will form the government in the country and who will go out of power. Rehman also said that the demand of arming common citizens or forming a militia in the name of combating terrorism is also wrong. With this, they are not creating any militia themselves, but there is a danger of bloodshed and personal enmity increasing in the future due to weapons coming into the hands of common people.
‘There is no government in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’
Maulana Fazlur Rehman said that today Pakistan is disintegrating. There is no government in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. In the West, after the sun sets, the police do not come out of their police stations until the sun rises in the morning. If the police do not come out of the police stations, the roads will be handed over to armed groups, then the roads and paths will be at the mercy of bandits.

He said that there were rebellions in Balochistan. The entire Baloch region was out of the control of Pakistan. Even today, the Pakistan government has no authority there. We have just bought shrouds for our loved ones in the markets.
Situation is such that children are not safe to go to school
Maulana Fazlur Rehman further said that is this the fate of the people of Pakistan that they have to spend their lives shedding blood? He alleged that neither my child can go out of the house to go to school, nor can a poor man of my province go out to work as a daily wage labourer. Even if he goes out, he does not feel safe.
Asim Munir accused of pushing the country towards looting and murder
Maulana Fazlur Rehman, without taking his name, taunted Asim Munir and said that you will go away, but you are pushing my motherland towards mutual enmity, murder and looting that will continue for generations to come. Explain this politics to someone else. Don’t try to convince us. If you want to do politics, then take off your uniform and contest elections.
