Farhad Shamji said about his writing and dealing with comedy scripts that – The audience never decides that this is a thriller so I will not go. This is horror, I will not go. Or is this a comedy, I will not go. If the film is good then everyone will go, as far as Welcome to the Jungle is concerned, I can say that a more rollicking comedy than this had never come before. But yes, Welcome to the Jungle came and became popular. Every punch was successful, every situation was understood by the public, and everyone even laughed at it. This is the reason why the film is getting so much love.
He further said- I have written 80 films out of which 35 have been hits. It has been understood that if you make a film with a double role, then you have to keep the audience confused that he thought it was that and he thought it was this. This kind of comedy which is based on situation works. So such a confusing situation has been created in Welcome also.

In comparison, the film has earned around Rs 150 crore in 8 days. The film has also earned decent earnings from abroad. But the film will have to earn a lot to save itself from flop.
