Criticism of Obama’s nuclear deal
Trump said on Sunday that our relations with Iran are becoming more professional and fruitful. However, they have to understand that they can neither develop nor buy nuclear weapons or bombs. Trump also criticized the nuclear deal signed with Iran in 2015 by former President Barack Obama. He suggested that Iran could join the Abraham Accords.
The US President said that I want to thank all the countries of West Asia for their support and cooperation, which will be further enhanced and strengthened by the joining of the nations of the historic Abraham Accords, and who knows, maybe Iran will also want to join.
Hormuz Strait will be opened
The New York Times newspaper quoted a US official as saying that Washington and Tehran have agreed in principle to a deal under which the Strait of Hormuz will be reopened with Iran committing to dispose of its enriched uranium. The official said no agreement has been signed at this time and it is still subject to final approval by President Trump and Iran’s supreme leader, which could take several days. He said talks were ongoing on how Iran would dispose of its enriched uranium.
