Jalaun News: A sensational video related to inter-religious love marriage and plea for protection from Kalpi police station area of Jalaun district of Uttar Pradesh is becoming increasingly viral on social media. 21-year-old girl Kajal Mansoori, who has been missing for the last several days, has completely denied the news of her kidnapping by releasing a video. Kajal has clearly said that she has not come under anyone’s pressure, but has gone with her six-year old boyfriend Thakur Om Singh of her own free will. After this video surfaced, there was a stir in the area and the police has intensified the search for the girl.
In the video going viral on social media, Kalpi resident Kajal Mansoori has explained in detail her ordeal and the reason for taking this step. However, this video is not confirmed by Tv9 Bharatvarsha. Kajal revealed in the video that she and Thakur Om Singh have been in a relationship with each other for the last six years. He had also informed his family about his love affair. Despite this, her family members were planning her marriage with another young man, due to which she had to take this big step of leaving the house.
Marriage as per Hindu customs: The missing girl has claimed that she has married Om Singh as per Hindu customs. Along with this, both of them have also filed an application for court marriage in the High Court to get their relationship legally recognized.
Father had filed a kidnapping case, husband’s life in danger
This whole matter started on the night of July 7, when Kajal suddenly went missing from her house. After the daughter’s disappearance, the victim’s father had filed a complaint in Kalpi police station on July 8. On the complaint of the father, the police had registered a case against Thakur Om Singh under serious sections of kidnapping. In the viral video, Kajal has said that there is a serious threat to her and her husband’s life from her parents. She alleges that her family members are threatening her husband Om Singh with physical harm. Kajal has sent a letter to the higher administrative and police officials of the district, pleading for her safety.
Statement of CO Rajesh Kamal: Statement will be recorded in the court
After the girl’s video went viral on social media, the local police administration has become fully prepared. Kalpi’s Circle Officer (CO) Rajesh Kamal shared official information on the progress of the case. CO Rajesh Kamal said that a case was registered against named accused Om Singh in Kalpi police station on July 8, the legal interpretation of which is currently prevalent.
Police officials say that the video going viral on social media has been taken into cognizance, although it will be officially confirmed only before the court. Police teams are continuously conducting raids to recover the kidnapper (Kajal). After recovery, the girl will be produced before the Judicial Magistrate, where her statement will be recorded under Section 164. After this, the final disposal of the case will be done on the basis of evidence only.
