Something happened to an Indian woman who was dreaming of making a career in America which shocked everyone on social media. in a startup social media Ruchika Jain, who joined as Growth Manager, had to lose her job within just 6 months. The surprising thing was that the company promised to give him a permanent place, but fired him from the job even before giving him the offer letter.
News of layoff received without offer letter and prior notice
Ruchika told that she was logging in for her work as usual, when she got a call from her manager. On the call he was told that his position was being eliminated due to budget constraints. Soon after this, all his work accounts were closed. They didn’t even get a chance to recover or a notice period.
Worked even during holidays and illness, still got such success
After joining the company in December, Ruchika always gave priority to work. He also worked during the Christmas and New Year holidays. Even after her grandfather’s death, she did not go home and continued working till late night despite back pain.
Kept waiting on verbal assurance, but got only zoom call
After completing the probation period of 3 months, he was verbally told that he was now a full-time employee and would receive a new offer letter soon. She waited for this letter for two and a half months, but instead of the offer letter, she got a Zoom call regarding layoffs.
Got tremendous support from people on social media
Even in this difficult time, Ruchika maintained a positive attitude. He said he is grateful for the lessons learned from this experience. After his video went viral on social media, people have come out in his support and are advising him not to lose courage.
