Health Minister Nishant Kumar himself saw the poor condition of Bihar’s health service with his own eyes. In such a situation, he took major action against the Principal of PMCH and removed Dr. Narendra from his post. The matter started gaining momentum and statements started. In his defense after being removed from the post of Principal of PMCH, Narendra Pratap said that his dignity has been hurt by this decision. He said that this is very insulting. He said that as a doctor or an official, I consider myself a well-known and respected person. He said that his mind tells him to commit suicide.
He said that the world knows and recognizes me. I have a proud history. In 2018-2019, during the tenure of this government (which has been in power for 20 years), I was suspended by the then official Sanjay Kumar, when Mangal Pandey was the minister. The Chief Justice of the Supreme Court declared it mala fide within three weeks. “After this, all the students took to the streets and marched, saying that this was wrong.”
What did the Deputy CM say?
In this matter, State Deputy CM Bijendra Prasad Yadav defended the government and Health Minister Nishant Kumar. Speaking to journalists at JD(U) headquarters, the Deputy CM said that he cannot say anything beyond the stand stated by the government. He said, “Whatever action will be taken, it will be based on the report of the commission.” Supporting Nishant Kumar, Bijendra Yadav said that the minister was doing his work. “Action has been taken and it is visible,” he said.
What is the whole matter?
When he reached Patna Medical College Hospital, after inaugurating the radiologist department, he went to a room. He had to hold a meeting here but no officer came at that time. The biggest thing that happened was that when Nishant tried to talk to the principal on phone, the principal did not even pick up the phone. In such a situation, Nishant said that he will take the harshest action against them.
