Harshad Chopra told that after the breakup of his first relationship, he once tried to commit suicide. Recalling that incident, she said, “Earlier there was a relationship, something had happened, I was angry. Then she called me and told me that I am here, doing this, with whom I am. At that time, whatever I was feeling, I did not want to feel. And I did not understand anything, so I cut my hand.”

Harshad further told that due to that incident he still has a mark on his wrist. The actor said that when this breakup happened, he had come to Mumbai even before that, when he was only 22 or 23 years old. This was their first relationship and this incident happened after about eight-nine months of the relationship. Harshad further told that somehow he himself reached the hospital. However, he said that the doctors initially asked him to inform the police. Harshad says, “I folded my arms and legs a lot, pleaded a lot. After that wisdom came… after that I promised myself that I would never harm myself again.”
