Why is this statement of Trump important?
G-7 countries need America at this time. On one hand, European countries are troubled by Russia, while on the other hand, countries like Japan are facing increasing pressure from China. In the G-7 meeting, member countries had demanded fresh sanctions on Russia, which Trump has accepted.
