He said that the Standard Procedure (SOP) for counting the offerings had been prepared with the help of State Bank of India and the entire process was shown to him for the first time last month.
He said that when, how and how much theft took place is a matter of investigation. Expressing full confidence in the SIT, police and court, he demanded that the investigation be completely thorough, fair and transparent. He said that no matter how influential or big a person the culprit is, he should be given strict punishment as per the law.
Regarding future arrangements, he suggested that such a system should be developed in the Trust, so that the monitoring of offerings is completely accurate and transparent.
