In a conversation with ‘Variety India’, Saif Ali Khan said that ‘Haivaan’ is completely different from his previous films. The actor said, “We are very lucky that he (Akshay Kumar) is playing this role in the film. It is even more exciting because his is a dangerous, negative role and I have rarely seen him playing such a role. I am very excited to see it.”

Talking about their decades-old friendship and relationship, Saif Ali Khan said about Akshay Kumar, “I like Akshay very much. He is like an elder brother to me. We have known each other for a long time. There is a special respect in the mind for someone who has worked for so long. We have seen a lot together. Our chemistry has always been very good.”
When will Haiwaan be released?
Priyadarshan’s directed film ‘Haivaan’ will be released in theaters on September 11 this year. Made under the banner of KVN Productions and Thespian Films, the film is a remake of Priyadarshan’s 2016 Malayalam thriller ‘Oppam’, which starred Mohanlal and Samuthirakani.
