
After the theft of offerings in Ram Temple, after the meeting of Ram Mandir Trust on Monday, the statement issued by Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra revealed how much offerings came to the Ram Temple and how much was spent. This information has been given. The statement issued said that out of the total amount received through fund dedication campaign and corpus donation of Rs 3,264 crore, Rs 2,370 crore has been used in construction and capital expenditure.
The statement said that from inception till March 31, 2026, the total offering received was Rs 482 crore, out of which an amount of Rs 319 crore was used for operating expenses. Balance amounts are available in bank accounts. The Trust has presented all these financial information to the media on time.
The statement said that offerings The trustees are hurt and concerned by the irregularities in the calculation process of the amount and express serious regret over this misbegotten incident.
Trust expressed confidence in SIT investigation
The statement said that on receiving information about this matter, it was found that after coming to the notice of the irregularity, the Trust officials, after collecting preliminary information, requested the Uttar Pradesh government for an impartial investigation.
The statement said that on the request of the Trust, the government immediately formed a high-level investigation team (SIT) so that an impartial, comprehensive and factual investigation of the entire matter could be conducted. Who played what role, who were involved and against whom a case should be filed – answers to all these questions were possible only on the basis of investigation. It is for this purpose that the initiative to request the formation of such an investigation team was initiated.
The statement said that the names of 8 people appeared in the preliminary report of the SIT. The Trust filed a case against those against whom prima facie evidence was found and arrests were also made. Now the whole matter is progressing as per the law.
Whoever is guilty should get the harshest punishment.
The statement said that the Trust has a clear opinion that whoever is guilty, legal action should be taken against him and the harshest punishment should be given. The scope of work of SIT is not limited only to investigation, but it is also to suggest what necessary improvements should be made in the systems of the trust so that the system can become more strong, robust and transparent.
The statement said that after the preliminary report of the SIT, General Secretary Champat Rai and a trustee Anil Mishra have resigned on moral grounds, which were presented for consideration in the trust meeting today. The Trust has accepted the resignations of both of them on moral grounds for an impartial investigation. Also, the Trust has decided to remove the name of Shri Gopal Narkote from the special invitee member list. The Trust believes that the truth will be published once the statutory process of investigation is completed and till then it is not appropriate to blame any person.
Trust meeting held today after offering theft
The meeting of the trustees of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra was held in Ayodhya on Monday. In this, the main issues discussed were irregularities in the process of calculating the amount received from donations, its investigation and proceedings, resignations of the General Secretary and a Trustee from the post of Trustee, ongoing discussions in the media, future interim arrangements etc.
It has been said in the statement that after the establishment of the Trust in 2020, in a short period of less than 6 years, the historic work of construction of the grand and incomparable temple of Lord Shri Ramlala was completed. During the same period, the important tasks of consecration, flag hoisting and installation of Shri Ram Yantra in the main temple and all the temples built in the fort were completed by the grace of God with joy and with the help of classical rituals.
