Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde has once again made a sharp attack on Shiv Sena (Uddhav Balasaheb Thackeray) chief Uddhav Thackeray. Targeting Uddhav on the issue of Hindutva, he said that UBT had abandoned Hindutva long ago. He said that Hindutva is not a T-shirt, you can wear it anytime. This attack by Shinde was regarding Uddhav’s Ramraksha movement.
In fact, Shiv Sena (UBT) has started ‘Ram Raksha Andolan’ across Maharashtra in protest against the alleged theft and financial irregularities in offerings and donations in Ayodhya Ram temple. In which he is raising this big issue and targeting the government. On Saturday he offered prayers at a Ram temple in Nagpur. During this, he also addressed a public meeting there in which he fiercely attacked BJP and Eknath Shinde.
‘When the saffron started decreasing then the name of Ram started to be memorized’
Shinde hit back at Uddhav and said that when saffron started decreasing then Ram’s name should be memorized. He said that Prabhu Ramchandra ji spent 14 years in exile for his father’s words and he left his father in the heavy rain. He said that what does not belong to Ram cannot be of any use.
‘Uddhav had left the path of Hindutva long ago’
The Deputy Chief Minister said that Mamata Banerjee is involved in the movement that Uddhav is doing. Sonia Gandhi, Akhilesh Yadav and Rahul Gandhi should have been called. He questioned why Uddhav is calling Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, he should call his people. He said that those who once used to make derogatory remarks on Ram devotees and today are standing with Congress, are now suddenly talking about Lord Ram and Hindutva. He said that by forming an alliance with these people, Uddhav had left the path of Hindutva long ago.
‘Hindutva is not a matter of political convenience’
Shinde said that Balasaheb Thackeray always raised the slogan of ‘Proudly say we are Hindus’. After years, now suddenly the Uddhav group is remembering this slogan. He said that Hindutva is not a thing of political convenience, which can be taken off whenever one wants and worn again when political advantage is seen. He said that before talking about Ram Raksha, Uddhav should protect his party and his remaining ideology.
He said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi built Ram temple. Today, Uddhav is not proud of the fact that he is taking the country forward. He said that today hydrogen train. Vikram rocket was launched but Rahul Gandhi goes abroad and defames the PM. He said that they are anti-national.
‘Abandoned Balasaheb’s idea and adopted the chair’
Shinde said that he has made people wear caps for many years but the people of Maharashtra are intelligent. Leaving the idea of Hindutva Balasaheb, Uddhav adopted the chair and the public showed him the way. He said that from 40 MLAs today we have become more than 56 MLAs. He said that the strength of NDA is continuously increasing because people are expressing confidence in the PM. He said that he is a Prime Minister who does not take even a single leave. He said that it is our duty to further strengthen the NDA.
‘We are the ones who unite, not those who break’
He said that today 6 MPs have officially joined us. He said that we are the ones who unite and not those who break. He said that Uddhav has the bank to take, we have the bank to give. He said that they accuse us that we have brought these MPs with us by paying crores of rupees. He said that we will give them money but will give development funds so that the public can benefit. He said that these MPs have not come for their own benefit.
