After working in the corporate sector for almost 18 years, he decided to leave his job. He took this decision not to fulfill any exciting dream or to start a new life, but behind it lies the story of many years of disappointment and struggle.
Why did Dharmendra take this decision
Dharmendra recently shared a video on his Instagram account, in which he talked openly about his big decision. He told that he worked in the corporate sector for 18 years, but now he has left the job. This decision was not easy for him, because his family is completely dependent on him. He has a 10 year old daughter and financially he has enough savings to meet household expenses for the next six months. Despite this, he felt that it was necessary to take this step now.
In the video, Dharmendra tells that after leaving the job, he is feeling a different kind of relief and freedom. According to him, he was continuously working hard in his career for the last several years, but he did not get the recognition and opportunities that he deserved. He told that his journey started in the year 2008. From the beginning, he worked with full dedication and honesty, but with time he started realizing that despite his hard work and performance, his progress remained limited.
Dharmendra says that office politics affected his career a lot. Many times it happened when he performed well, but someone else got the benefit. Opportunities for promotion and new responsibilities often went to other people. He started feeling that his hard work and experience were not being judged properly. He also told that in February this year, he turned 38 years old.
With almost 18 years of experience, he has developed many important skills in his field. He believes that his ability and experience were much more than the position and salary he was getting in the job. This thinking inspired him to think seriously about his career. Ultimately they decided that there was no point continuing in an environment where their abilities were not getting the respect they expected. Therefore, he showed courage by leaving his job and choosing a new path for himself.
