
Hera Pheri 3 Rights: The cult classic comedy ‘Hera Pheri’ has been in controversies for a long time. There is a lot of discussion about the third part of this film, but when will the film come and who will make it, the picture seems blurry. Meanwhile, now Akshay Kumar’s production house ‘Cape of Good Films LLP’ has issued a public notice, in which they have claimed that they own all the rights of ‘Hera Phera’. Also, in the notice, it has been asked from distributors to OTT platforms not to do any work related to this film without permission.
Akshay Kumar The notice issued by the production house reads, “The general public and especially all those associated with the film industry – be it distributors, theater owners, OTT and streaming platforms, TV channels, digital platforms or advertisers – are all informed that Cape of Good Films LLP has the right to produce, release, promote and exploit ‘Hera Pheri 3’ in every possible way throughout the world. These rights are licensed in perpetuity, to be exercised in any medium, on any platform, and through any technology, whether existing today or in the future.”
This public notice has been issued by Akshay Kumar’s production house.
‘Hera Pheri 3’ has a long association with controversies!
After the bumper success of ‘Hera Pheri’ and ‘Phir Hera Pheri’, fans are eagerly waiting for its third part. However, this wait is getting longer and longer. Now, after the public notice came out, another controversy has been added to its long list of controversies.
First of all, in the year 2022, Akshay Kumar distanced himself from this film. It was claimed that he took this decision due to creative differences. After his departure, the matter of Kartik Aryan’s entry came to light. However, the controversy ended in 2023 and it was said that a film would be made with Akshay, Paresh Rawal and Sunil Shetty. At that time Farhad Samji’s name came up as the director. But the film was not made.

Paresh Rawal’s exit and then entry
In 2025, Paresh Rawal distanced himself from the film. The dispute escalated so much that Akshay sent him a law notice demanding compensation. After this the controversy ended and Paresh Rawal’s entry into the film was confirmed again. After this Priyadarshan’s name came up as the director. But in June, producer Firoz Nadiadwala told that Priyadarshan is not its director. Priyadarshan also said the same thing but he said that the film is in a lot of controversies and perhaps it will never be able to come on screen. Now Akshay has claimed the rights of the film.
