Bakrid festival is being celebrated today i.e. on 28 May 2026. Sacrifices are made in most Muslim homes on this festival. For this reason, many mutton dishes are prepared at most people’s places on this day. It is very heavy for your stomach, because along with protein, it also contains a good amount of fat. The digestive system has to work harder to digest both these things. Many times, due to this reason, some people may suffer from stomach related problems like gas pain, heaviness. Home remedies are effective to get rid of this.

Everyone remains excited during the festival and celebrates together. In such a situation, something or the other is eaten throughout the day. Especially if you eat too much non-veg, you may be more likely to suffer from bloating. Its cure is hidden in the kitchen of your house itself. Fennel is the best

If you are feeling bloating or nausea after Eid, then boil fennel in water and then filter it and drink it lukewarm. With this you feel relief within some time. If you want, you can also eat fennel by chewing it.

If you are having crampy pain in the stomach i.e. it feels like cramps, then grind a piece of ginger and boil it in 1 cup of water. Let it become lukewarm. After this, filter it, add a little honey and lemon juice to it and drink it sip by sip. This provides relief from the problem of bloating and cramps.

If you are having stomach pain due to gas, then lightly roast half a teaspoon of celery. Crush it well. Mix a pinch of asafoetida and a little black salt in it and take it with warm water. With this you feel relief within some time.

If you feel sour belching and heartburn after eating spicy non-veg, then these are symptoms of acid reflux. To get relief from this, you can eat a little curd. If there is no heaviness or gas in the stomach, drinking cold milk provides relief. Apart from this, taking coconut water or one spoon fennel provides relief.
