Famous Ragini singer Pepsi Sharma, who won the hearts of people with his powerful voice and unique performance on stage, is no more. His sudden demise at the age of just 38 has caused a wave of mourning among folk music lovers not only in Haryana but also in Western Uttar Pradesh and North India.

Pepsi Sharma was a well-known name in the Haryanvi Ragini world. He was recognized not only as a singer but also as an artist who kept the folk culture alive. He entertained people with his singing for years. According to the information, on Monday morning i.e. June 8, Pepsi Sharma suddenly complained of chest pain. After which he was immediately taken to the hospital. Where he breathed his last during treatment. According to initial information, the cause of his death is said to be heart attack.

According to reports, Pepsi Sharma’s real name was Yashpal Sharma. He belonged to Talala village of Ghaziabad district of Uttar Pradesh and had created his own identity through folk music. His singing played an important role in spreading the Haryanvi folk tradition to the new generation. Pepsi also performed in the famous TV show ‘Yeh Dil Hai Hindustani’, in which everyone enjoyed her performance very much.
