Indian women’s cricket team on England tour
The Indian women’s cricket team is currently on a tour of England, where it has to play 3 T20s and 1 Test. Harmanpreet Kaur is also a part of Team India on this tour and the captaincy is also in her hands. But due to receiving the Padma Shri Award, Harmanpreet did not go on the England tour with the team. The Indian women’s team played a practice T20 match with the ECB team on 25 May, which they won by 7 wickets.
Schedule of India’s tour of England
On the England tour, the Indian women’s cricket team first has to play a T20 series, which is starting from May 28. The first T20 will be played in Chelmsford. Whereas the second T20 will be held in Bristol on 30 May. The third and last T20 will be played in Taunton on June 2. The only Test on the tour will be played at Lord’s from July 10 to 13.
