Ashadha Gupt Navratri 2026: Gupt Navratri of Ashadh month has started from today i.e. 15th July. This Navratri will continue till 23rd July. There is a tradition of worshiping 10 Mahavidyas in Gupt Navratri. Gupt Navratri is considered the time of secret sadhana. Tantric worship is performed at this time. These ten Mahavidyas of Gupt Navratri are considered to be the form of Mother Sati. It is believed that Mother Sati had taken this form to stop Mahadev. Practicing 10 Mahavidyas during Gupt Navratri gives special benefits in life.
This Navratri is very different from the normal Navratri festival. It is said that the more secret the sadhana done during this period is kept, the faster its results are achieved. During this period, a fast of nine days can also be observed. It is believed that by worshiping these forms of Mother Sati, all problems are solved.
