Gumnaam Movie: There are many such films made in Bollywood, which have retained their identity even decades after their release. The interesting thing is that this film was released in theaters just 72 hours before the birth of Bollywood superstar Salman Khan.

‘Gumnaam’, released in the year 1965, was one of the most popular suspense-thriller films of that time. The film was directed by Raja Navathe, while it Manoj KumarNanda, LifeBig stars like , Mehmood and Helen were seen. The story revolves around some people who reach a mysterious island. There people start dying one by one and everyone is suspected. This suspense of the film keeps the audience glued to the seats till the end.

While on one hand ‘Gumnaam’ was hitting the big screens on 24 December 1965, on the other hand, three days later i.e. on 27 December salman khan Was born. At that time no one would have thought that after a few years Hindi cinema was going to get its biggest superstar. Talking about the film, the biggest feature was its story as well as its music. Songs like ‘Gumnaam Hai Koi’, ‘Jaan Pehchan Ho’ and ‘Hum Kale Hain To Kya Hua Dilwale Hain’ are still on people’s lips.
