July 14, 2026 by Uma Shankar

Dhamaal Actor: The journey of this 'Dhamaal 4' actor, who has become famous for his strong acting in Bollywood, has not been easy at all. Today he is the owner of wealth worth crores, but there was a time when he had to work at a dhaba in Rishikesh to earn his living. From washing utensils on a daily wage of Rs 150 to becoming the owner of crores, his story is no less than a film script.
This is actor Sanjay Mishra, who won people's hearts with his brilliant acting in many films including 'Vadh', 'Bhool Bhulaiyaa', 'Dhamaal', 'Golmaal'. However, there came a period in his life when he decided to leave the film industry. His father's death and his serious illness had completely broken him from within.
Sanjay Mishra had told in an interview to Indian Express that he was suffering from a serious illness. He said, "15 liters of pus was removed from my stomach. As soon as I recovered, my father passed away. I felt that my life was coming to an end. " After this he left Mumbai and went to Rishikesh without any plan.
He started making omelettes at a dhaba on the banks of Ganga in Rishikesh. Sanjay told that the owner of the dhaba had told him that he would have to wash 50 cups every day and in return he would get Rs 150. The actor said, "I needed money to run my life, so I accepted that job. "
Sanjay Mishra also revealed that the doctors had told his family that if the operation was not successful then there was very little hope of his survival. He recovered after the operation, but his father died a few days after being discharged from the hospital. Recalling the last conversation he had with his father, he said, "I told him how can he eat whole chicken for three days? On this he had said, 'Your advice is not needed. ' These were his last words. "
After the death of his father, when Sanjay Mishra read his diary, one thing written in it made him even more emotional. His father had written in the diary that he was hurt by the incident when Sanjay Mishra got angry at the fans outside the cinema hall while watching the film 'Aloo Chaat'. This thing is deeply rooted in the heart of the actor even today.
Today Sanjay Mishra is counted among the best character actors of Bollywood. According to reports, his total wealth is around Rs 149 to 150 crore. He has a sea-view flat in Mud Island, Mumbai worth about Rs 4.95 crore. Apart from this, he also has a magnificent farmhouse near Lonavala. His car collection includes luxury vehicles like Toyota Fortuner and BMW.
