Govinda: Loss of 16 crores, people behaved badly… Govinda’s revelation on ‘Coolie No. 1’ remake

Govinda on Coolie No 1 Remake: Bollywood actor Govinda has been away from the big screen for a long time, but these days he remains in the headlines for his personal life. Not only in theatre, but Govinda often makes his presence felt on TV or OTT, be it Kajol and Twinkle Khanna’s talk show, ‘The Kapil Sharma Show’ or the latest reality show ‘Lock Up’. Recently, Govinda reached Ekta Kapoor’s show ‘Lockup 2’, in which his wife Sunita Ahuja is already included as a contestant. Meanwhile, an old interview of Govinda has surfaced, in which Govinda talked about his struggle in the industry. The actor also told why he considers the remake of ‘Coolie No. 1’ a wrong step.

Bollywood’s ‘Hero Number 1’ Govinda He spoke openly about the remake of his superhit film ‘Coolie No. 1’. The actor says that he had also invested money in the remake of this film, but he had to suffer a loss of about Rs 16 crore. Not only this, Govinda also claimed that during that time some people behaved very badly with him. Now this old statement of his has come into discussion again.

What did Govinda say on Coolie No. 1?

When Govinda was asked about the remake of ‘Coolie No. 1’, he said that he never speaks bad about anyone. In an old interview, Govinda said, “You will never see me speaking against others. While others often like to talk about me, I never talk about their work or judge it because I respect everyone’s hard work and the money invested. In the last 14-15 years, I invested money and suffered a loss of around Rs 16 crore. Some people in the industry also misbehaved with me. My films did not get theaters and They wanted to end my career, which could not happen.”

Govinda’s advice to his children

When Govinda was asked what advice he would give to his children, Tina and Yashvardhan, he said, “They should wait for their time with grace and respect, but also keep doing their work. Maybe I can be the person to give them a platform and they don’t need a big name to get a chance.”

Govinda and Sunita have been married for almost four decades and have two children, Tina and Yashvardhan. Tina made her Bollywood debut with ‘Second Hand Husband’ in 2015, while Yashvardhan is currently preparing to enter the film industry as an actor.
