
The case of murder of a student named Gopal in Banwariwas village of Jewar police station area in Greater Noida, Uttar Pradesh has gained momentum. State Deputy Chief Minister Brajesh Pathak has said that the government is with the victim’s family. The government has directed the administration to take strict action against the killers. These scoundrels will definitely be punished. Meanwhile, Jewar MLA Dhirendra Singh met Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and demanded strict punishment for the culprits. Also told that financial assistance of Rs 5 lakh has been given to the family.
In his post on Facebook regarding the murder of the student, Deputy Chief Minister Brajesh Pathak said, “The murder of 15-year-old Gopal Sharma in Banwariwas village of Jewar area of Greater Noida is very painful. The Uttar Pradesh government will definitely bring the criminals who committed this inhuman act to justice.”

The Deputy Chief Minister further said, “For early disclosure of the incident, I have held a meeting with UP Additional Chief Secretary (Home) Sanjay Prasad and DGP Rajeev Krishna and asked for the strictest action against these criminals. Also, the government stands with the victim’s family. I promise that these criminals will definitely be punished.”
Jewar MLA met CM in Lucknow
Meanwhile, with the aim of getting the culprits of Gopal murder case punished, local MLA Dhirendra Singh met Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath in Lucknow. MLA Dhirendra said that financial assistance of Rs 5 lakh has been given to the victim’s family. But we also want justice to be done and the culprits to be punished severely.
He said, “I informed the Chief Minister about the situation. Some people are trying to blow up the matter unnecessarily. We want the matter to be exposed impartially, the Chief Minister is also serious on this.”
Meanwhile, local MLA Dhirendra Singh has also appealed to the people of the area to maintain restraint. Police is doing its work. No innocent person should be punished, only the guilty should go to jail. The police administration is doing a thorough investigation. The investigation may take some time but an innocent person should not be punished.
3 accused arrested in murder case
Earlier on Wednesday, police arrested 3 accused in Gopal murder case. Additional Police Commissioner (Law and Order) Rajiv Narayan Mishra said that the police arrested the three accused after the encounter near Sabauta Rajwahe. He told that 2 people were shot in the leg during the encounter. The injured have been admitted to the government hospital for treatment.
ACP Mishra said that Gopal Sharma, a class nine student of Banwariwas village of Jewar, had gone missing on the evening of May 21. The next day, on May 22, at around 10 pm, his body was found in a locked house in the neighboring village of Rohi.
