‘Give Me Some Sunshine’ echoed amid CJP protest, this style is winning hearts of Mizoram students!

Mizoram CJP Protest: Whenever we hear news of any demonstration or movement, the first images that come to our mind are ruckus, police, lathicharge or sloganeering. But recently there was news of a demonstration by students from Mizoram, which attracted the attention of the entire country. When hundreds of students of Mizoram took to the streets, saddened by paper leaks and rigging in examinations, they chose the path of music instead of creating ruckus.

The voices of these youth singing in unison without any anger, push or aggression reflected all the pain that almost every student of the country is facing today. As soon as the song ended, the entire area erupted in applause. The caption of this video shared on Instagram is also heart touching. It is written, this is not a music concert, but the voice of those youth who have now refused to remain silent.

Why is this method special?

‘Give Me Some Sunshine’ is not just a song, but a mirror of the shortcomings of our education system, exam pressure and the broken dreams of children. The students of Mizoram have shown that it is not necessary to shout and scream to register a protest, what is said through peace and art goes straight to the heart.

The movement that started as a joke is now the voice of the entire country.

This movement was started by ‘Cockroach Janata Party’ (Cockroach Janta Party) The name was meant as a taunt. But today it has become a serious issue. From Jantar Mantar in Delhi to the hills of Mizoram, students and their parents are demanding only one thing, and that is to bring transparency in the examination system and ensure a better future for the youth.
