Therefore, on the thirteenth day, rituals like worship, Pind Daan and Brahmin feast are performed. It is also believed that on this day ancestors come to see their family. This is the reason why on this day it is said to keep the atmosphere of the house calm and pure.

It is advised to take care of some special things till the thirteenth day. On this day, people are asked not to spread filth in the house. It is said to keep the puja room clean. It is forbidden to cry alone at night or call out repeatedly to a dead person. Religious experts believe that committing these mistakes can harm the soul of the deceased. Not only this, by repeatedly making noise, the attachment of the deceased soul increases and it may face difficulty in attaining peace.
