A person who performs religious activities during his lifetime and does not cause mental or physical pain to any creature or creature easily reaches Yamalok. On the contrary, those people who cause trouble to other people in their life, the messengers of Yama torture them and take them to Yamalok.

According to Garuda Purana, a person’s actions determine his rebirth. A person who does good deeds in his life becomes free from worldly bondages and attains salvation. Whereas the person who commits only sin in his life, his soul is sent to hell. According to the deeds of a person, that soul is tortured. The soul is reborn after suffering tortures. According to mythological scriptures, the soul gets a new body between the third and 40th day after death.
