Everyone wants to reach there to tick off their ‘bucket list’. But is reaching Chandratal really as easy and romantic as it looks in the movies? The answer is absolutely not! Then he laughs and says that now it seems that she will die as soon as she reaches Chandratal. Let us tell you that Chandratal, which the world calls Moon Lake, is located in Lahaul and Spiti district of Himachal Pradesh. This is not a common tourist place, but a beautiful lake situated at a high altitude of about 4,300 meters (i.e. about 14,100 feet) above sea level. It was named ‘Chandratal’ because its shape is like a half moon.
