From Ram Temple to Divya Kumbh… CM Yogi told the new chapter of UP development in Gorakhpur.

Amidst the theft in Ayodhya Ram temple, CM Yogi Adityanath said in Gorakhpur that did anyone imagine that the dispute of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi in Ayodhya would be ended? Today a grand temple of Lord Shri Ram has been constructed in Ayodhya. Lakhs of devotees are coming to Ayodhya Dham. Kashi Vishwanath Dham has been constructed in Kashi. Maa Vindhyavasini Dham has been constructed in Vindhyachal. The tradition of Kumbh has been going on for thousands of years, you must be seeing that Kumbhs have been happening for thousands of years, but this divine and grand Kumbh is also happening for the first time.

CM Yogi said that Kumbh should be clean and smart, this is happening for the first time. The previous governments had made Kumbh synonymous with stampede, Kumbh with disorder, Kumbh with anarchy, Kumbh with filth, and hence a perception had developed in the world that Kumbh meant filth, Kumbh meant stampede. CM said that that perception has changed when the Bharatiya Janata Party government came to power.

’25 crore people rose above the poverty line and entered the middle class’

At the inauguration of the two-day ‘Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay Training Maha-Abhiyan 2026’, CM Yogi Adityanath said, “Under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, we have seen a changing India in the last 12 years. Who would have thought that toilets would be built in the homes of 12 crore poor people, or 4 crore poor families would get a roof over their heads through the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana? Now lakhs of people are getting clean drinking water from the taps installed in their homes.

He said that 50 crore poor people are getting the benefit of Ayushman Bharat scheme and 80 crore people are getting free ration. It is this public welfare thinking due to which 25 crore people have been able to rise above the poverty line and join the middle class and are able to actively participate in India’s development journey. “We are uniting the entire country under a common ideology and linking our values with the core spirit of India, its ideology and its heritage.”
