Kanupriya said that by continuously monitoring players’ physiological and biomechanical data (muscle tension and movement), AI can predict the risks of potential injuries in advance. With this the coach can increase or decrease the training load.

Aditya Awasthi, Chief Operating Officer, Vijay Bharat Foundation, said that through initiatives like ‘Khelo India’, AI and data analytics are being used to identify hidden sporting talents in children at an early age (9 to 18 years), thereby preparing them for future events.
