On May 24, the Red Fort of Delhi is going to witness a big show of tribal strength. It is claimed that more than one lakh tribals from across the country will gather in the tribal social gathering organized by RSS-affiliated Vanvasi Kalyan Ashram. The organizers are calling it a cultural event, but it is also being seen as a big effort to penetrate and mobilize the tribal vote bank before the 2027 and 2029 elections.
country’s capital Delhi And a huge crowd of tribal community is going to gather at the Red Fort. Under the banner of Vanvasi Kalyan Ashram, people of tribal community from across the country have started reaching Delhi.
The outline of this event has been prepared by RSS-affiliated Vanvasi Kalyan Ashram and Tribal Suraksha Manch. The organizers claim that around one lakh people will attend the event. Of these, 75 thousand people are reaching Delhi by train, while about 200 people from nearby states are preparing to arrive through buses.
Celebration on the 150th birth anniversary of Lord Birsa Munda
The people participating in this program organized on the 150th birth anniversary of Lord Birsa Munda are staying at five different places in Delhi, from where they will reach the Red Fort in a procession with traditional costumes and folk culture.
Although the platform is calling it a cultural event, its political meaning is also being extracted amid efforts to woo the tribal society before the 2027 Assembly and 2029 Lok Sabha elections.

Know what issues will be raised in the society
There are preparations to raise many sensitive issues in this gathering of Vanvasi Kalyan Ashram associated with RSS. The biggest issue is that of conversion and de-listing. It is alleged that even after religious conversion, some people are taking advantage of tribal reservation, due to which the original tribal community is feeling cheated.
Apart from this, issues like fake ST certificates, encroachment of tribal lands, and so-called love jihad and land jihad will also be raised from the platform. The organizers allege that some foreign powers and missionary organizations are trying to separate the tribals from their cultural identity.
According to sources, after the weakening of the Naxalite movement and the visit of Home Minister Amit Shah to Bastar, the government wants to give a message of confidence and self-respect to the tribal society through this program. It is being told that Amit Shah will also talk about the government’s plans and future strategy in the program.
