
Union Home Secretary Govind Mohan on Monday reviewed the preparations of state governments for NEET (UG) re-examination, 2026, in which special attention was paid to the convenience of students, security arrangements and integrity of the exam process. He directed all state governments and Union Territories (UTs) and central agencies to ensure that security protocols are strictly followed and the exam is conducted without any mistakes.

In this meeting, Chairman of Railway Board; Secretary, Department of School Education and Literacy; Secretary, Higher Education Department; Secretary of Post Department; DG of CRPF, CISF, BCAS and DG of NTA; And senior officials of the Ministry of Defense and Health and Family Welfare Ministry were also present in the meeting.

- Director Generals of CRPF, CISF and BCAS were also present in the meeting.
- There was a special discussion on the security of examination centers and safe movement of examination material.
- Instructions were given to ensure better coordination between central and state agencies.
- The government aims to conduct the NEET re-exam successfully without any irregularities, paper leaks or security lapses.
- All concerned agencies were asked to remain alert to ensure that students do not face any inconvenience on the day of examination.
