June 2, 2026 by Uma Shankar

The controversy regarding Class 12 results of Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is increasing day by day. Allegations are being made that the newly introduced ‘Digital On-Screen Marking’ (OSM) system has put the future of lakhs of students at risk. In this context, the Union Education Ministry has intensified internal investigation into allegations of irregularities in tender allocation. In this controversy, the name of a company named ‘Koempt Edutech’ is coming out prominently.

The Union Education Ministry suspects that the terms of the tender were deliberately changed to benefit this company. Officials have seized records related to the company. Surprisingly, investigation has revealed that the company ‘Globarina’, which was earlier involved in the case of irregularities in the results of Telangana Intermediate examination, has now changed its name to ‘Koempt Edutech’. How a company with a controversial history was entrusted with the important responsibility of evaluating CBSE board exams has now become a topic of discussion.

TV9 team reached the company office

When the TV9 team reached the company’s office, some people present there quietly left the place. An attempt was made to talk to the company officials, but the security personnel did not allow them to go inside. The security personnel said, “There is no officer present inside, please go back.” This whole matter is now giving rise to many questions and criticisms.

In 2019 also, Congress leaders had protested regarding a similar issue. The matter is in discussion after the controversy has come to the fore once again. When the TV-9 team reached the company’s office located in Madhuranagar area of Hyderabad, it was being operated in a small house. Our team made several attempts to talk to the concerned officials, but could not contact any official. This office of the company is located in Hitech City area.

Everyone’s eyes are on the education department’s investigation.

Telangana Congress leader Shyam Mohan Reddy has also raised questions regarding this matter. Protests have started across the country regarding this entire matter. Although CBSE has denied these allegations and said that the process was transparent, but the facts emerging from the investigation of the Education Department will be important. Student unions have warned that they will struggle until every aggrieved student gets justice.
