A horrific shooting case has come to light in Midland city of western Texas state of America. A shooter opened fire indiscriminately in the city, killing one person and injuring at least nine others. The shooter has been killed after a long encounter with the police. There is an atmosphere of panic in the entire city after the incident.
This incident happened near the place where a major firing incident had taken place six years ago. According to Midland Police, this entire incident continued for several hours. First, bullets were fired in a part of the city, then the shooter reached near a veterinary hospital. There the police surrounded him and the shooter died in the encounter, but the police did not say whether he died due to the bullet or he committed suicide.

What did the eyewitness see?
A woman, Andrea Mendias, said she heard a small explosion. He counted about 40 gunshots. He saw that many armed policemen arrived there and came out of an armored vehicle. The police also deployed robots so that the situation inside could be ascertained. Midland Memorial Hospital said that four people are undergoing surgery, while the condition of five other injured people is stable.
This city has seen such a scene before
Midland city is famous for oil. About 1.4 lakh people live here. Sadly, in the same area six years ago, a shooter had killed 7 people and injured 24 others. The man committed this crime in anger after being fired from his job.
