Firepower up to 1,200 KM… Successful test of ‘Agni-1’ missile, India again shows strength

India has achieved another major success in the field of defense on Friday. Short Range Ballistic Missile Agni-1 It was successfully tested from the Integrated Test Range (ITR) located in Chandipur, Odisha. ​This test was conducted under the supervision of the Strategic Forces Command (SFC) of the Army. This is a short range ballistic missile, which can destroy the enemy sitting at a distance of about 700 to 1,200 kilometers.

According to the Defense Ministry, during this test-launch, all the technical and operational parameters of the missile were carefully examined, in which it completely passed the test.

According to defense sources, after launching, the missile touched its intended path (target) with great accuracy. To monitor the performance of the missile, special sensors and radars were installed on land and sea. Investigation has revealed that the missile has completely fulfilled all its technical and operational standards.

What is the power of ‘Agni-1’ missile?

Killing Ability: This is a short range ballistic missile, which can destroy the enemy sitting at a distance of about 700 to 1,200 kilometers.

​Feature: It is a single-stage missile which runs on solid fuel. It can be easily launched by taking it anywhere by road.

History: This missile was inducted into the Indian Army in the year 2004 itself and is a very important part of India’s nuclear power.

Recently, in the beginning of May, India had also tested some more advanced missiles of Agni series. Today’s successful test shows that India’s strategic and defense system is strong and alert in every way.
