FIH Pro League: India beats Pakistan again, record of remaining unbeaten in 18 consecutive matches intact

India vs Pakistan: Indian hockey team’s excellent performance continues in the FIH Pro League. In the match played on June 23 in London, India defeated Pakistan 4-3. With this victory, India has maintained its decade-long unassailable lead over Pakistan. With this victory, the Indian team has reached 7th place in the points table. Pakistan had scored the first goal in this match but India made a wonderful comeback on the basis of amazing play and ultimately won the match.

Pakistan’s Ahmed Nadeem gave Pakistan the lead by scoring a goal through a penalty corner in the eighth minute, but India counterattacked in the 22nd minute and Abhishek scored a brilliant goal in the 22nd minute. After this, in the 24th minute, Neelakanta Sharma gave India the lead by converting the penalty corner and the team led by Harmanpreet Singh took a 2-1 lead till half time.

After this, India launched two consecutive attacks on Pakistan. In the 40th minute, Sukhjit Singh scored a brilliant goal and Rajinder Singh scored from a penalty corner to give India a 4-1 lead. However, Pakistan tried its best to make a comeback. Abu Mahmood tried to make the match exciting by scoring a goal from the penalty corner in the 53rd minute and Moeen Shakeel in the 60th minute, but in the end India won. Now India will face host England in the Pro League round in London on Friday.
