FIFA World Cup: Loudspeakers, noise, firecrackers… who created ruckus outside the England team hotel all night and why?

Football is a game in which fans go to any extent in the rivalry between two teams. Generally such rivalry is seen between the clubs playing in the league of a country. But even in international football, when there is a big stake at stake, fans are ready to take every risk. A similar scene was seen in Mexico City during the FIFA World Cup 2026, where Mexican fans created a ruckus and created a scene throughout the night outside the hotel of the England team.

Actually, the pre-quarterfinal (round of 16) match is to be played between hosts Mexico and England at the famous Azteca Stadium in Mexico City. This clash will take place between Mexico and England on the night of Sunday 5th July (6th July at 5:30 am in India). Being the host, this World Cup and this match is very special for the fans of Mexico because the team can reach the quarter finals again. But this challenge is not going to be easy for him.

Now the result of the match will be decided in a game of 90 minutes (or 120 minutes or penalty shoot-out) and all this will be decided by the players only. But Mexico’s fans have already contributed to giving their team the lead and troubling the England players. For this, the night before the match, Mexican fans created a ruckus outside the hotel of the England football team in Santa Fe.

Thousands of Mexican fans had arrived carrying drums, musical instruments, loudspeakers and firecrackers. Then all through the night they all made a lot of noise and kept singing songs and shouting slogans. The only objective of these fans was that the England players should not be able to sleep peacefully the night before the match and should be disturbed by the noise throughout the night so that they feel mentally and physically tired on the day of the match.

The special thing about this entire incident is that the organizers were already aware of it and hence the name and location of the hotel of the England team was not made public. But somehow the Mexican fans got wind of this and since then they started gathering outside the hotel. However, for all this, ‘anti-riot’ police had already been deployed in large numbers outside the hotel. Now what effect it will have will be known in the match.
