
In a light-hearted moment during his meeting in Bratislava on Monday, Slovakian Prime Minister Robert Fico wore a gray jacket given to him by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. PM Modi jokingly said that it seems that both the leaders have unknowingly come into the matching color theme. PM Modi uploaded a video on his Instagram handle, in which Fico was wearing a sleeveless jacket over a white shirt, which is usually Modi’s typical attire on foreign trips.
When PM Modi Pointed out that both the leaders were wearing jackets of almost similar shades on this occasion, then PM Fico posed for the camera.

PM Modi told Prime Minister Fico, “What a coincidence, the color combination is matching.” This moment gave a glimpse of the warm personal relationship between the two leaders during PM Modi’s historic visit to Slovakia.

After Slovakia’s independence in 1993, Prime Minister Narendra Modi is the first Indian Prime Minister to visit this country. PM Modi wrote in the caption of the video, “Prime Minister Fico was wearing a jacket which I had gifted him and, coincidentally today the colors of our jackets matched.”
PM Modi reached Slovakia on Sunday, where he was given a warm welcome. He has become the first Indian Prime Minister to visit this country since the country’s independence in 1993. He held delegation-level talks with his Slovak counterpart, Robert Fico, in Bratislava on Monday and the two leaders also visited an art exhibition.
11 agreements signed between the two countries
India and Slovakia elevated their relations to a major partnership and signed 11 agreements to increase mutual cooperation. After talks between Modi and FICO, these agreements have been signed in many areas like migration, digital technology and defence.

After talks between the two leaders, a letter of intent on defense cooperation was finalized. PM Modi also praised FICO’s cooperation in finalizing the India-EU Free Trade Agreement.
On June 16-17, the Prime Minister will attend the G7 Summit in Evian, France, where he will interact with G7 leaders, partner countries and international organizations on issues such as economic growth, global partnerships and artificial intelligence.
