Fees Comparison: Aamir Khan or Sunny Deol, which actor charged more fees for the two successful films of 2001, Lagaan-Gadar?

Aamir Khan Vs Sunny Deol Fees: Although many films were released in the year 2011, there were two films which till date no film has been able to replace them. Sunny Deol's 'Gadar' and Aamir Khan's 'Lagaan', both were released in theaters on June 15. Now both these movies have completed 25 years and on this occasion we will tell you how much fee Aamir Khan charged for 'Lagaan' and Sunny Deol for 'Gadar'.
Aamir Khan's 'Lagaan' and Sunny Deol's 'Gadar' had a big clash at the box office. But 'Gadar' had won in earnings. Not only in terms of earnings, but also in terms of fees, Sunny Deol had left Aamir Khan behind. Sunny Deol had charged many times more money for 'Gadar' than Aamir Khan's fees for 'Lagaan'. 
According to reports, Sunny Deol had taken a fee of Rs 4.5 crore for the blockbuster film 'Gadar: Ek Prem Katha' directed by Anil Kumar in 2001. This fee of Sunny Deol was the highest for any Bollywood actor at that time.
The total budget of Sunny Deol and Ameesha Patel's blockbuster film 'Gadar: Ek Prem Katha' was Rs 18 crore. This film created history at the box office and collected Rs 132 crore worldwide. It became the second highest grossing Hindi film of the year 2001.
At the same time, Aamir Khan had taken a fee of only Rs 35 lakh for his superhit film 'Lagaan'. Along with acting in this film, Aamir Khan also produced it. Since this was the first project of his own production company and the budget of the film had increased a lot. Therefore, like many artists, he also took very low fees at that time.
The total budget of Aamir Khan's historical film 'Lagaan' was around 24 to 25 crores. Made under the direction of Ashutosh Gowarikar, this movie had collected Rs 66 crores worldwide. At the same time, it had earned approximately Rs 35 crores at the domestic box office and with this it became the third biggest hit film of the year 2001.
