
Union Coal and Mines Minister G. Kishan Reddy has launched a scathing attack on the Congress government in Telangana. He alleged that the Congress government is giving political protection to AIMIM. He said that while HYDRAA’s action against the common people appears swift and harsh, the government’s attitude in matters related to AIMIM is completely different.
In a post made on social media handle X, Union Minister G. Kishan Reddy raised the question whether the Revanth Reddy government is doing this out of fear of AIMIM or in an attempt to please it. He alleged that the government was refraining from taking action against institutions linked to AIMIM due to land and real estate interests, while taking strict action against common citizens.
The Union Minister claimed that Barrister Fatima Owaisi Educational Campus is located in the Full Tank Level (FTL) and buffer zone of Salkam Cheruvu. He said that despite repeated observations of the Telangana High Court, questions over the delay in action and the court summoning records from various departments, the government failed to act swiftly.
Poor Muslim families also affected by HYDRA’s action
Yes. Kishan Reddy alleged that the Congress government treats AIMIM as if it represents the entire Muslim community, whereas it is not so. He told that poor Muslim families were also affected by HYDRA’s action. Their homes and livelihoods have been affected. Yet neither AIMIM nor Congress came forward in his support.
Reddy government protecting political interests of AIMIM
He said that whenever the issue of institutions or properties related to AIMIM comes up, Congress and Owaisi’s party appear united. Yes. Kishan Reddy alleged that this clearly shows that the Revanth government is protecting the political interests of AIMIM rather than the interests of the Muslim community.
Questions raised on the working style of Congress government
The Union Minister alleged that the priorities of the Congress government are clear. Bulldozers for the poor and security for political allies. He stressed that public lands, lakes and government resources belong to the people of Telangana and not to any group enjoying political patronage.
