
Once again there are signs of party change in the politics of Maharashtra, due to which the turmoil in the state has intensified. . Amidst the discussions about ‘Operation Tiger’, Shiv Sena (UBT) chief Uddhav Thackeray called an important meeting of all the party MPs on Sunday (June 14). This meeting is being held at Matoshree, the house of the Thackeray family in Mumbai.
According to the information, Sanjay Deshmukh from Yavatmal-Washim and MP from Hingoli Nagesh Patil Ashtikar have joined online in this meeting. Whereas MP Omraje Nimbalkar has not been able to attend the meeting. It is being told that Nibalkar’s son is unwell and has been admitted to a hospital in Pune, due to which he could not come to the meeting.
These MPs attended the meeting
The MPs who have reached the meeting so far include Arvind Sawant, Rajbhau Waje, Sanjay Dina Patil, Anil Desai. It is being told that some MPs have participated in the meeting directly and some online. South Mumbai MP Arvind Sawant and Nashik MP Rajabhau Waje are participating in the meeting being held at Matoshree. Mumbai South Central MP Anil Desai and Mumbai North-East MP Sanjay Dina Patil are also present in the meeting.
These three MPs were missing from the meeting
There has been no official confirmation yet regarding the presence of Shirdi MP Bhausaheb Vakchore and Parbhani MP Sanjay Jadhav. It is being told that Vakchore’s phone has been switched off continuously since morning. He has gone out somewhere with his family for the last two days. Whereas Omraj Nimbalkar had already informed that his son is admitted in the hospital.
Speculations about MPs changing sides
In fact, reports of some MPs of Shiv Sena (UBT) being in contact with Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde are continuously coming to the fore. There is speculation that under Operation Tiger, some MPs may join Shinde-led Shiv Sena. This meeting has been called for this very reason. It is considered very important for the politics of Maharashtra. The eyes of Maharashtra politics are fixed on this meeting.
In the Lok Sabha elections, 9 MPs of Shiv Sena (UBT) led by Uddhav Thackeray had won. For the last few days, the Shinde faction has been continuously claiming that about 7 out of 9 MPs of the Uddhav faction are in touch with Eknath Shinde and may soon change sides. This is the reason why Uddhav is trying to keep his family united.
