Rajul Patil, daughter of rebel Shiv Sena (UBT) MP Sanjay Patil, met party chief Uddhav Thackeray on Sunday. Rajul is also a BMC councilor. Rajul went to Uddhav Thackeray’s house Matoshree and clearly said that she is with the party and will work with full loyalty. He said, I am with the party and them. When asked about his father’s rebellion, Rajul replied, it is his own personal decision. Every person in our family can take his own decisions.
Rajul Patil said, “In view of the discussions going on for the last few days, I came to ‘Matoshree’ and presented my stand in front of the party chief. I have made my personal and political stand clear to Uddhav Saheb and he is completely satisfied with my decision. The party has expressed confidence in me and I have been entrusted with the main responsibility of welcoming him in the upcoming program.”

Rajul’s stance is similar to that of Shiv Sena (UBT) leader Krishna Patil Ashtikar, who said he is with party president Uddhav Thackeray even as suspense remains over the intentions of his father, MP Nagesh Patil-Ashtikar. It is believed that he is one of the six rebel MPs who are trying to create division in the party.
Sanjay Dina Patil had rejected these speculations on Wednesday. On Wednesday, he vehemently denied being part of any rebel group. Expressing his support towards the party led by Uddhav Thackeray. Dismissing speculations about his political future, Sanjay said he is committed to Shiv Sena (UBT) and rubbished reports of his name being added to any list of rebel MPs. He said that I deny being included in any rebel list. I am the MP of SSUBT and will remain in SSUBT only.”
